Due to the potential for significant fluctuations in market prices for diesel fuel, we reserve the right to and do currently assess a fuel surcharge on shipments. Our surcharge is applied to all shipments having similar characteristics. We attempt to notify via electronic mail all current customers of changes in the surcharge and endeavor to ensure our contact information is accurate and complete.

We review the fuel surcharge periodically and ensure that upward and downward movements are made promptly. When a change in the fuel surcharge is calculated, the change is communicated and effective the following Monday.

LTL Fuel Surcharge Policy

• Fuel costs are based on the Department of Energy Weekly Retail On-Highway Diesel Prices. The prices can be monitored at the following web site: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp and are updated by the Department of Energy each Monday.
• TXLA will apply the LTL Fuel surcharge table to the most current Gulf Coast Diesel price as posted by the Department of Energy and select the applicable surcharge.
• TXLA reserves the right to change or modify its fuel surcharge as conditions warrant.

Truckload / EUV Fuel Surcharge Policy

• Fuel costs are based on the Department of Energy Weekly Retail On-Highway Diesel Prices. The prices can be monitored at the following web site: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp
• TXLA will apply the Truckload / EUV Fuel surcharge table to the most current Gulf Coast Diesel price as posted by the Department of Energy and select the applicable surcharge.
